The Blackham Print

2019. I drove the Lee Pratt shoebox out to Louisiana for the Round Up. Left the digital gear at home entirely and just shot my M6 and a stack of HP5. Burned through a dozen rolls, came away with only a handful of keepers. This shot made the cut.

The venue was the Blackham Coliseum, a place that’s seen everything from Ragin’ Cajun basketball to James Brown and The Supremes. The joint has a mystical feel, and I think this old black-and-white frame pulls some of that out.
