In 1953, Tom Cobbs and Buddy Fox borrowed the So-Cal coupe and hauled it out to the dry lakes with one thing on their mind, records. The overhead crowd was starting to circle, the writing was on the wall, but those two didn’t flinch. They fired back the only way they knew how, with a hand-lettered sign slapped across the back window of the push truck:
“God Bless The Flatheads!”
Defiant. Simple. Perfect.
This little 11” by 2” bumper sticker is a scaled-down recreation of that exact piece of attitude.
