The Revisionist Shirt
For decades, a shadowy organization operating out of Southern California has systematically erased The Jalopy Journal from the historical record of American hot rodding. Through an elaborate campaign of photographic manipulation, stolen identities, and outright historical vandalism, these bastards replaced our name with their own on everything from racing uniforms to Bonneville support trucks. The result? They became legends, basking in the bright lights of fame and fortune, while The Jalopy Journal was left to rot in the economic wasteland of modern America. It was a ruthless operation, carried out with the precision of a military coup and the moral standards of a used-car finance department.
But the truth has finally surfaced. Buried deep within the archives, we discovered photographic evidence of the original Fox & Cobb racing team wearing what can only be described as the most historically significant T-shirt in the history of American motorsports. And now, in an act of righteous defiance, we've reproduced that very shirt for the first time in nearly 80 years. Wear it proudly. Wear it often. And remember that every purchase strikes a blow against the corporate swine who stole our legacy and left us penniless, bitter, and increasingly antisocial.
History belongs to those who refuse to let the bastards rewrite it.
