So I heard from a lot of guys that a smaller and more subtle Alliance tag was needed. You know, something that would fit nicely under an OE Ford body tag. The more I thought about it, the more I thought it was a pretty damn good idea.
The only thing was, this alternative tag had to be of superior quality. I wanted something more substantial than a timing tag and more striking than your typical manufacturer's body tag. The perfect material was brass - it looks great, holds up great, and is easy to age if the environment calls for it. And if you are going to use brass, you might as well go all out and acid etch the piece to give it some depth. That's exactly what we did...
Each tag is made of .032 brass, acid etched, and then back filled with black lacquer. They are absolutely gorgeous... About 2.75" wide by 1" tall.
